On the occasion of Hindu Heritage Day 2025

What:  Story Telling contest

Who: Open to all students in the area.

When: April 11 2025. Venue : TBD

Register by April 8th 2025.

Awards distribution May 10 2025.

How:  Narrate a story with a topic related to hindu heritage. We encourage participants to narrate a story in the context of the theme, Nari Shakti. The topics can range from stories (Durga, Mahishasur Mardini, Rani Laxmibai) and parables, inspirational sayings (Matru Devo Bhava), biographical incidents (Sant Meerabai, Sant Janabai) or practices (e.g. yoga,).  You will find lots of ideas to guide you on the above webpage.

Judging & Prizes: Judging will be in separate groups according to age by a panel of judges. Comprehension of the subject by the presenter would be a plus.  Make sure the voice is clear and audible. The participant must appear in the video, background narration alone will not be accepted. There will be cash prizes for outstanding performers. Winners and prizes will be first announced at Hindu Heritage Day at Marlborough Middle School, Marlborough, MA on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 between 3 and 8 PM.
